Rise and Shine: The Morning Routine
My day as a technician at Childs Heating & Air begins bright and early. After a quick breakfast, I don my uniform and head to our office in Donelson, TN. The first order of business is our morning team meeting, where we discuss the day’s schedule and any urgent service calls that came in overnight.
On the Road: Serving Middle Tennessee
By 8 AM, I’m on the road, ready to tackle the day’s assignments. Our service area covers a wide range of locations, including:
- Hermitage, TN
- Lebanon, TN
- Madison, TN
- Mt. Juliet, TN
- Old Hickory, TN
My first stop today is in Mt. Juliet for an AC repair. The homeowner reported strange noises coming from their unit, so I’ll need to diagnose and fix the issue promptly.
Midday: HVAC Installation Project
After lunch, I head to Hermitage for a scheduled HVAC installation. This is a more extensive job that requires careful planning and execution. I work alongside a fellow technician to ensure the new system is properly installed and functioning optimally.
Afternoon: Emergency AC Service
Just as we’re wrapping up the installation, I receive an urgent call about an AC breakdown in Lebanon. Summer heat can be unforgiving, so we prioritize these emergency calls. I quickly make my way to the location to provide much-needed relief to the homeowner.
Wrapping Up: Back to Base
As the day winds down, I return to our Donelson office to complete paperwork and discuss any notable issues with our team. We take pride in providing top-notch service to our Middle Tennessee community, and days like these remind me why I love working for Childs Heating & Air.
