Morning Routine
My day starts early, around 7 AM, with a quick breakfast and a strong cup of coffee. As a technician for Carden Heating & Cooling, I know that each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to help our customers stay comfortable in their homes.
First Call: Furnace Repair
- My first job of the day is a furnace repair call in Calera, AL. The homeowner reported that their furnace wasn’t producing enough heat, and they were concerned about their family’s comfort.
- Upon arrival, I greet the customer and ask for more details about the issue. After a thorough inspection, I diagnose the problem as a faulty igniter.
- I explain the issue to the customer and provide them with a quote for the repair. With their approval, I promptly replace the igniter and perform a series of tests to ensure the furnace is functioning correctly.
Lunch Break
After completing the first job, I take a quick lunch break to recharge. During this time, I check my schedule for the afternoon and prepare for the next assignment.
Afternoon Appointments
- Furnace Service in Alabaster, AL: I perform a comprehensive maintenance check on the customer’s furnace, cleaning components, and ensuring optimal efficiency.
- Heating Service in Pelham, AL: The customer’s boiler system was experiencing issues, and I troubleshoot and replace a few worn-out parts to restore proper operation.
- Furnace Replacement in Columbiana, AL: For this job, I work closely with the homeowner to select the best replacement furnace for their needs and budget. After a smooth installation, I walk them through the new system’s features and answer any questions they may have.
Wrapping Up the Day
As the day winds down, I head back to the office in Hoover, AL, to complete any necessary paperwork and debrief with my colleagues. It’s been a busy but rewarding day, knowing that I’ve helped multiple families stay warm and comfortable in their homes.
Tomorrow is a new day, and I look forward to continuing to provide exceptional heating services to the communities we serve.
